5 Feb 15 – Livermore CA TRI-VALLEY RISING IN THE 21ST CENTURY

The public is invited to join Alameda County Supervisor Scott Haggerty, the Bay Area Council Economic Institute and Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group for a breakfast forum examining the Tri-Valley’s fast-emergence as a new technology and innovation powerhouse in the Bay Area. 

Event DetailsThe Tri-Valley Rising in the 21st Century breakfast forum will take place on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 from 8:00 to 10:00 am at The Grafton Station Merchants Club, 4080 Grafton Street, 2nd Floor, Dublin. Tri-Valley OverviewThe Bay Area Council Economic Institute’s Vice President Tracey Grose will present top findings from its recently released report on the Tri-Valley’s vital role in the Bay Area economy, including its surging growth in technology-related jobs and bustling economic activity as a major corridor for Bay Area ports.  Supervisor Scott Haggerty and Bay Area Council President & CEO Jim Wunderman will discuss how improved transportation infrastructure for the Tri-Valley is critical to maximizing and supporting future economic growth, livability, and competitiveness for the Bay Area as a whole. 

A panel featuring top business and community leaders from the Tri-Valley including Innovation Tri-Valley Chair John Sensiba , representatives from both Sandia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Topcon and Shea Homes will address trends, issues, and challenges in the Tri-Valley.
