Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes Livermore Mayor John Marchand who will present a State of the City address at its Wine Country Luncheon on Thursday May 23at the LARPD Robert Livermore Community Center.  Also part of the program is the presentation of certificates of completion for the LVCC 2018-19 Livermore Leadership program.

Key topics Mayor Marchand is expected to cover include the City’s upcoming sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary; the local economy; new businesses and new residential neighborhoods; the next phase of the Downtown District revitalization; the future Valley Link inter-regional rail service; and the City’s growing desirability attracting  visitors and future residents.

Hosted May through September, the popular LVCC monthly luncheon series is set at various venues throughout the Livermore Valley wine region and features guest speakers that cover topics and issues relevant to the dynamic economy at the local, regional, state and national levels.
