Economic Development/Government Affairs
Business and political leaders discuss issues that impact business and quality of life in the area. CEOs of new businesses are invited tell the community about their business and why they decided to do business in Livermore. This committee also organizes political forums for key races in the area. This very prestigious committee is a great way to network. The committee meets the first Wednesday of each month in the Livermore Chamber Conference Room at 7:30 a.m. Open to all members. Ambassador Committee
The Ambassadors are the goodwill arm of the Chamber and the business community. They participate in ribbon cuttings, grand openings and other Chamber events. Ambassadors act as "special greeters" at the Chamber’s many activities and they are responsible for introducing and welcoming new members. The committee meets the third Tuesday of the month in the Livermore Chamber Conference Room at noon. Education Committee
Business owners are well aware of the importance of an educated workforce and are spending a great deal of time working with educators to enhance the educational system. The committee meets on an as needed basis.
Board of Directors
The Livermore Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors establishes goals and priorities as well as sets policy for the organization. They meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month in the Livermore Chamber Conference Room at 7:30 a.m.
Hispanic Business Council
The Livermore Chamber Hispanic Business Council is designed to give Hispanic business owners more of a voice in the Chamber and the community. Its goal is also to teach other members about how to reach and sell to the Hispanic market. This committee is a separate arm of Economic Development, but like Economic Development will provide networking opportunities as well as introduce business leaders to the chamber membership and government officials. This committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. in the Livermore Chamber Conference Room.
