Livermore Chamber Panelists

The Wine Group, LLC, the world’s second largest wine producer by volume, has been active in the Chamber since 2002 when the historic Concannon Vineyard joined our group. We are fortunate to live and work in a region where we have one of the Bay Area’s most dynamic and effective Chambers of Commerce. We rely on the Chamber to keep us appraised of important changes in local regulations, development plans and special events which might have a significant impact on our business and the quality of life for our 200+ Bay Area employees. The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is the leading voice for area business and a driving force for innovation, civic pride and good governance. We strongly recommend that all local businesses, regardless of size, join and be active members of the Chamber. It is well worth the investment.

After moving Checkers Catering & Special Events to Livermore from San Ramon, we quickly became Chamber members to get involved in the community. The Livermore Chamber has a huge following of very involved people from many organizations. The members are both large and small which gives everybody great networking opportunities. By getting involved with the Chamber and becoming a board member I have been able to grow my business. The key for anyone is to get involved!

With the Livermore Valley Chamber having one of the largest memberships in the Bay Area, it is important for most local businesses to look on how to leverage this for the growth of their business. It is very true the saying that “you get out what you make of something”, so it is imperative to be involved with the Chamber. The staff of the Chamber make it very easy to get involved in so many ways, whether it be events, committees, ribbon cuttings, media and more. With the energetic staff, we are also very lucky to have enthusiastic leadership of our Ambassador Program. Staff and the Ambassador Program help get many of the members, many small to medium sized businesses connected to other members and prospective customers. One of the more unique benefits that the Livermore Chamber brings to us all is the Film Commission. With Jeanie and Dale helping to promote the Livermore area and creating additional attention. As a Livermore Chamber member for almost 30 years, I encourage all Livermore area businesses that want to create new opportunities for their business to get involved with our Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

I can’t imagine trying to conduct a successful business in the Livermore Valley without being a member of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce! The Livermore Valley Chamber is not only innovative, but is one of the fastest growing chambers in the East Bay. By taking advantage of the programs they offer, I am easily able to not only network with other businesses but can stay abreast of current affairs. I highly recommend not only being a Livermore Valley Chamber member to anyone wanting to conduct business in the valley – but to take advantage of the various programs offered. There truly is something for everyone.

I’ve been both a member and Ambassador for about 3 years now and have found this particular Chamber one of the most hands on Chambers I have been involved with. I always feel a genuine interest in helping me grow my business and introducing me to others. Of course, like anything else in life, you get what you put in. I’ve let them know what I was looking for in my membership and they have supported me in accomplishing that. The “benefits meeting” they have is very helpful in learning about the many perks that go along with belonging. Plus, even when you have a very busy schedule, it’s nice to know there are ways to contribute to the community, even if it’s in a small way. The relationships you gain are invaluable.

The Chamber has helped me by allowing members to advertise in the monthly mailings. We gained a valuable repeat customer that has helped us prosper during these most difficult times. We are a new small business in Livermore and even though we have great qualifications, getting the word out about us can be expensive and difficult. The Livermore Chamber of Commerce has greatly helped us and we appreciate the Chamber’s support.

The Chamber of Commerce has been absolutely vital to building my business. Not only do I have a network of businesses to whom I can refer colleagues and other businesses, the Chamber has referred other businesses to me too. The Chamber mixers are a great way to meet new businesses, and I’ve developed several friendships as well as professional associations because of all the activities they put on. The nominal membership fee has come back to me many times over.
