Livermore City Council Authorized the use of Matching Funds for the Alameda County CARES Grant Program

At Monday’s meeting, the City Council authorized the use of $1,000,000 in matching funds for the Alameda County CARES Grant program. This action creates a pool of $2,000,000 that Livermore businesses can apply for at $5,000 per business, which can be used for rent, payroll, and other expenditures. APPLICATION DEADLINE IS NOV. 30

Statement on State’s Limited Stay-at-Home Order for Purple Tier Counties

The State announced today a limited Stay at Home Order generally requiring that non-essential work, movement, and gatherings stop between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. PST in counties in the Purple Tier.

This week Alameda County announced a temporary pause on plans to open additional activities due to recent increases in the COVID-19 case rate.

The City of Livermore, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD), and Livermore Area Recreation and Park District (LARPD) are proud to announce the Mask Up for Livermore campaign, a robust effort to encourage mask wearing in Livermore. Wearing a face mask that covers the mouth and nose is an important way to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
