Get ready to unlock a lifetime of discovery this July with the Livermore Area Recreation & Park District (LARPD) and National Park and Recreation Month!

Established in 1947, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District was developed in an effort to provide more recreational activities for area youth.  Since that time, LARPD has continued to grow, providing a variety high quality programs, parks, and open space areas for all ages to enjoy. To further promote the vital role that LARPD plays in keeping the community active and healthy, we are encouraging everyone to get out there and discover all that we have to offer this July as we celebrate National Park and Recreation Month.

National Park and Recreation Month is the perfect time to try something that you have never done before and discover a new passion with LARPD.  Try your hand at building and racing a boat with your kids on July 14 at the Cardboard Boat Regatta, learn to dance, swim, or play an instrument, experience the wonder of nature at one of our Weekend Nature Programs, take an art class, or explore the great outdoors and go on a hike at Brushy Peak or Sycamore Grove Park.  The choices are endless!

LARPD provides opportunities for people of all ages to achieve healthier lifestyles, promote and understand nature, as well as brings the community closer through a variety of programs and services.   To learn more about the Livermore Area Recreation & Park District and the services and programs we offer, please contact us at 925-373-5700 or visit us online at www.larpd.org.  Livermore Area Recreation and Park District.  Learn.  Play.  Explore.
