Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is set to recognize local Chamber member businesses at its #LivValBiz Awards luncheon on September 28 at The Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa, highlighting the best, brightest and most promising members of the business community.

This event will be attended by community leaders, nominees and business leaders from the Livermore Valley. “This event is all about celebrating the business community,” said Sherri Souza, Interim Chamber President and CEO. “We were excited about hosting the awards in-person again this year recognizing the achievements of our local businesses, small and large.”

2023 award recipients will be recognized in one of six categories:

Dream Big Small Business Award

This business demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit that reflects a commitment to the Livermore Valley’s future.  Stands out for their exceptional business practices and community involvement.  Employs 50 or fewer employees.  Must be a privately-owned for-profit entity.  Franchises not eligible.

Best in Hospitality Award

This business showcases Livermore Valley in a positive light; goes the extra mile in providing service to visitors, enhancing the visitor’s experiences and desire to return to the Livermore Valley. Demonstrates pride in and commitment to the Livermore Valley hospitality industry.

Emerging New Business of the Year Award

This business is an emerging growth company that has demonstrated its ability to disrupt and have an immediate impact; has a capacity for creatively and innovation; experienced growth and established itself as a leader in its industry.

 Distinguished Large Business of the Year Award

This business demonstrates innovative business practices and concepts; exhibits strength in the area of employee training; and demonstrates a commitment to the Livermore Valley through community engagement and support. Employs 50 or more employees.

Excellence in Health Care of the Year Award

This business exemplifies excellence in the Health Care industry by giving back to the community. Possess a corporate culture that enhances the lives of its employees and stands out in the community for its community support and collaboration.

Non-Profit of the Year Award

This organization demonstrates a prevalent presence in the community; is innovative, builds relationships with the Livermore business community; and is a leader in the non-profit sector. This business has a positive reputation for local services to Livermore residents.

Incorporated in 1937, the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 membership organization representing 400 businesses and organizations.
