Livermore, CA – This month, the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is the host for the 2021 Tri-Valley Mayors Summit luncheon. The event is scheduled for Thursday October 28, 2021 from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. outdoors at Wente Vineyards in Livermore.

Last hosted by LVCC in 2016, the five Tri-Valley Chambers of Commerce that include Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon rotate host duties each year.

“We are honored to host this event at the beautiful Wente outdoor venue featuring mayors representing five dynamic communities that comprise the Tri-Valley region,” said Dawn Argula, LVCC President and CEO. “We look forward to hearing from these leaders about their experiences and lessons learned during one of the most challenging periods of time in modern history and how they intend to support and lead the economy going forward.”

Guy Marzorati, reporter and producer for KQED will be moderating the panel of Mayors. Marzorati covers local and state politics.

This year, four of the five were newly elected to the mayor’s seat in 2020 and it’s their first time on the stage together at the Summit. Renee Morgan of Danville first elected to the town council in 2012, is serving her second term (previously 2016) as mayor in the council 1-year appointment rotation. While new to their offices, the other four mayors are not novices to City leadership. With the lengthiest tenure of the five, Dave Hudson of San Ramon was first elected to the city council in 1997. Since 2012, both Bob Woerner of Livermore and Karla Brown of Pleasanton served on their respective city councils. And Melissa Hernandez of Dublin has served on its city council since 2016.
