The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is expanding its programs this month with the launch of two new initiatives.

Livermore Valley Next is a forum to develop next generation leaders to create change and influence within the community. “The Chamber is excited about this program targeting a younger demographic that live and work in the Livermore Valley and that often do not have the time or opportunity to engage in activities or decisions that affect their quality of life,” said Dawn Argula, Chamber CEO. Drawing upon the 40 years and younger crowd, Livermore Valley Next will focus on professional development and community impact events, as it looks to engage its members in shaping the future of the Livermore Valley.  The Livermore Valley Next launch event is on Thursday evening May 17.

Tuscany, Italy is the destination for the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce’s first international travel program. Partnering with tour operator Aventura World, travelers will depart on November 6 to experience 7 nights in Montecatini in the Tuscan region of Italy where they will visit nearby towns that include Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena, and the Chianti region.  Locals from the Livermore Valley wine region have an opportunity to experience a beautiful and legendary Tuscan wine region at a reasonable cost.  Attend an information presentation on May 22 from 6-7 pm in the LVCC conference room.
