Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes Livermore Mayor John Marchand who will present a State of the City address at its Wine Country Event on Thursday May 22 at an in-person luncheon held at the Garre Winery & Vineyard.
“The business community is looking forward to hearing from Mayor Marchand about progress on initiatives important to the city’s economic health. Mayor Marchand presents a very entertaining update and we are looking forward to hosting him once again.” said Sherri Souza, LVCC CEO/President. “The Chamber has been supportive of the City of Livermore and its leaders on key issues affecting the local and regional economy.”
Topics Mayor Marchand is expected to cover include the City’s progress on downtown projects – housing, hotel and amenities including parking and green space; progress on housing and infrastructure citywide and delivery of key city services; the City’s General Plan update; and the status of the City’s fiscal health and resources to meet its obligations.
