12 May 2023 – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce will continue its well-received Wine Country Luncheon Series. Always anticipated and well-attended, the luncheons feature guest speakers discussing issues relevant to businesses and the community.

The first luncheon, Thursday, May 25, will feature Livermore Mayor John Marchand. He will be sharing the State of the City and sharing the latest developments in Livermore. The luncheon will be held at the Robert Livermore Community Center, 4444 East Ave., in Livermore and runs from 11:30 am – approximately 1:30 pm.

The June 22nd luncheon will be the Chamber’s second Wine Country Luncheon. This event will be on Economic Trends and Outlook: Future Proofing Your Business. The key speaker for this event is Severin Sorensen, CEO of ePraxis LLC and author/podcaster. Originally from California, Severin graduated with honors from the University of Utah, earning degrees in Economics and Political Science. He completed his graduate studies in Economics at King’s College, Cambridge University, receiving a M.Phil. degree in Economics. This promises to be a day full of exciting news and networking opportunities. The event will be held at Garré Vineyard & Winery, 7986 Tesla Rd., Livermore. Doors open at 11 am, with lunch and speakers from 12 noon – 1:30 pm.

The last two luncheons of the series are July 27 at Ravenswood Historical Site and September 28 at Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort & Spa. Not only will you enjoy lunch in a beautiful setting, you will get updates on Workforce Development in the Tri-Valley and Graduation for the 2023 Leadership Livermore Class in July and the LVCC #LivValBiz awards in September.

“These luncheons are always extremely popular and often sell out. It’s a great way to keep in touch with what is going on in the business community and to network.
