Jody Amos, President of Amos Productions and chair of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce made the announcement to the Board of Directors of the Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday.
The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate in California or stay and grow in California.
“California is moving with the urgency this moment demands, rapidly bringing support to Californians recovering from the devastating impact of the recent storms,” said Governor Gavin Newsom.

Eligible applicants can receive a one-time grant of $5,000 for home-based businesses and $10,000 for brick-and-mortar businesses. The funds will not require repayment.
The purpose of the grant program is to provide financial support for activities associated with promoting Livermore’s downtown, the wine country, and events that promote Livermore as a destination, produce an economic benefit to Livermore and the region, generate tourism in Livermore.
The California Office of the Small Business Advocate has awarded funding to the Chabot - Las Positas Community College District for the Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant Program to provide grants to microbusinesses in the counties of Alameda, Amador, Contra Costa, and El Dorado.
