Friday June 17, at Las Positas College Golf Course, the City of Livermore and the Livermore based non-profit Stop Urban Blight are co-hosting the “Graffiti Masters.” The City of Livermore is excited to be a part of this full day of activities. Attendees will include government agencies and concerned citizens from across northern California. The event is open for a nominal fee to anyone that would like to learn how to more effectively eliminate graffiti vandalism from our communities. All media is welcome and will receive lunch at no charge.

Morning activities include an open forum to share graffiti fighting ideas with speakers from the City of Hayward’s Neighborhood Partnership Program and the City of San Jose’s Volunteer Program. Attendees can also participate in a vendor show and pressure washer & airless safety/maintenance classes. All people interested in attending should pre-register by visiting www.TheGraffitiMasters.com or by contacting Jennifer with Stop Urban Blight at 925-443-5208 or Jennifer@StopUB.org. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place following the open forum as Stop Urban Blight is inducted into Livermore’s Chamber of Commerce.
