Program:
“Art & Wine Intertwined” will be held at the Visitor’s Center and Gallery at the Bankhead Theater in downtown Livermore on Sunday afternoon, June 25 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The casual wine tasting will include local offerings from Fenestra Winery, Mia Nipote, and Wente Winery. The event is free and open to the public with tastings $2 each or three for $5. Light appetizers will be served.

The Hurricane Band, with lead guitarist Fred Musser, will provide music during the event. A high energy band, they present a collage of sound reflecting the best in blues, classic and contemporary rock music.

The event coincides with the close of the “Creative Rhythm” exhibit which has been on display in the Gallery at the Bankhead since early May. A colorful mix of mediums, styles and color palettes, including works of photography, acrylics, oils, and watercolors, the exhibit reflects both literal and figurative interpretations of how artists translate rhythm visually in their work.

Hosted several times each year by Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, “Art & Wine Intertwined” events welcome the community to the Bankhead Theater and support LVPAC’s goal to build awareness and share the visual and performing arts.

Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center offers a diverse range of programs providing access to the arts for the Tri-Valley community and beyond. Through the Bankhead Theater and Bothwell Arts Center, LVPAC offers numerous events each year, from classes and workshops, to concerts and performances, as well as extensive educational outreach in the arts.
