APPLY NOW FOR LIVERMORE TOURISM AND SPECIAL EVENT GRANTS

The City of Livermore is pleased to announce the availability of five Tourism and Special Event Grants for fiscal year 2021-2022.  The purpose of the program is to provide financial support for events that:

  • add to Livermore’s unique art, history, diversity, or character,
  • appeal to broad audiences throughout the region,
  • produce an economic benefit to the City by marketing Livermore as a destination, and/or
  • provide interest and opportunity for the community to gather as we emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.

This program, which was put on hold since the Shelter-in-Place Order, is now available following the Governor’s recent announcement that California will fully reopen on June 15.

Under this program, five (5) grants of $2,000 each will be awarded to organizations that successfully demonstrate that their event will meet one or more of the program goals.

The application form and guidelines are now posted on the City of Livermore website at oied.net and are also available at City Hall, 1052 S. Livermore Avenue, Livermore, CA. Applications must be for events occurring after July 1, 2021 and will be considered on a rolling basis until all grants have been awarded. For questions, please contact  the Office of Innovation and Economic Development at oied@cityoflivermore.net.
