Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce Hosts Wine Country Event at the Bankhead Theater

Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first in its series of Wine Country events and luncheons this summer on July 24, 2025 from 3:00PM -5:00PM, with an informational panel on how to do business locally. This event will happen at the Bankhead Theater, 2400 First St, Livermore.

“We are happy to host this informational panel with Sandia Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the City of Livermore and the Small Business Administration to help local business owners learn how to qualify and apply for procurement needs at their facilities. Sometimes it can be intimidating understanding the RFP/RFQ process and how to participate in their procurement system,” stated Sherri Souza, Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce CEO/President.” The panelists will be there to explain their systems and clarify the qualifications needed to participate in their procurement requirements for local business. There are most likely many missed opportunities for local business to supply some of the needs these facilities have to offer.”

The panel will consist of Roy Bayani with Sandia National Laboratory, Jordan Clark with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Tina Olson with the City of Livermore and Chris Horton with the Small Business Administration. These professionals will discuss the opportunities and processes for doing business locally.

LVCC will also celebrate the graduation of the 2024/2025 graduating class of our Leadership Livermore program which concluded in June at this event with certificates given to the graduates by Mayor John Marchand. Join us for this celebratory event and informational panel.
