Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce Kicks Off its Wine Country Event Season with Livermore Mayor Bob Woerner and the State of the City

Livermore, CA – The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes Livermore Mayor Bob Woerner who will present a State of the City address at its Wine Country Event on Thursday, July 14 at an in-person luncheon held at the LARPD Robert Livermore Community Center. This is Woerner’s second and final address to the Chamber since being elected mayor in 2020. Woerner is not seeking a second term in November due to health reasons.

“The business community is looking forward to hearing from Mayor Woerner about progress on initiatives important to the city’s economic health,” said Dawn Argula, LVCC President and CEO. “The Chamber has been supportive of the City of Livermore and its leaders on key issues affecting the local and regional economy.”

Topics Mayor Woerner is expected to cover include the City’s progress on downtown projects:

  • Housing, hotel, and amenities including parking and green space;
  • Progress on housing and infrastructure citywide and delivery of key city services;
  • The City’s General Plan update;
  • The status of the City’s fiscal health and resources to meet its obligations.

“We are excited about returning to the in-person luncheon format for the State of the City event, and all protocols will be observed to protect our guests and to comply with the Alameda County Public Health Department’s COVID-19 orders in effect at the time,” continued Argula.
