LVCC CEO Dawn Argula and Chairman Steve Larrañaga, attended the groundbreaking ceremony on 2/26/18 for the City of Livermore’s Civic Center Meeting Hall and Emergency Operations Center. The newest addition to its Civic Center Campus, the Meeting Hall will replace the City’s aging double-wide trailer used for 30+ years for its City Council meetings.  Originally intended as a temporary structure, the trailer was long overdue for replacement. The new facility is being constructed at the corner of South Livermore and Pacific Avenues and will be state of the art, and much more welcoming for visitors and for those that attend city government’s public meetings. Construction will be completed in 2019. LVCC is pleased to support the City in its efforts to modernize its facilities to 21st century standards and prepare for future expectations for city services. This is a key addition to Livermore’s Civic Center Campus, long-overdue and fitting for a city that was founded nearly 150 years ago.
